The Boulder Project

This week we are starting our unit called "The Boulder Project". This project will focus on showcasing the city we live in, go to school in, and play in: Boulder, Colorado. Using a camera, students will capture the essence of Boulder at its finest, most fun, or most crazy. Expanding upon the idea of contemporary photography as a visual language, students will be taking a non-literal approach to represent Boulder in your photographs. For this assignment, students will be presenting their idea of Boulder in the format of a Cinemagraph and will need to take multiple shots in order to compile them into a final partially moving image.
